I loved reading this！ This is Mary and Sendat’s story and it is definitely a whopper。 Lily and Kate’s friend Mary finally finds the one male for her， well technically he buys her。 It all works out in the end though and they get a happily ever after。 There’s lots of action， steamy scenes， betrayal and more too。 When one of the slavers sticks Mary in an escape pod and tells her don’t worry he will find her and keep her， to say she was terrified is an understatement。 She manages to escape the pod b I loved reading this！ This is Mary and Sendat’s story and it is definitely a whopper。 Lily and Kate’s friend Mary finally finds the one male for her， well technically he buys her。 It all works out in the end though and they get a happily ever after。 There’s lots of action， steamy scenes， betrayal and more too。 When one of the slavers sticks Mary in an escape pod and tells her don’t worry he will find her and keep her， to say she was terrified is an understatement。 She manages to escape the pod but then traded in an underground slave ring。 There Sendat， an undercover officer of the imperial fleet， tells his boss he wants to buy her。 Mary feels as though she is safe with him and her instincts are right。 What follows is them hiding from the police with an alien that reminds me of Jabba the Hutt， then she is kidnapped by a pompous feline， saved by her mate， held hostage and saved again by her mate。 Despite going through an awful time Mary， who is now known as Miri， still has an upbeat attitude， a male who loves her and she couldn’t be any happier unless she were to find Lily and Kate， the females she was abducted with and held hostage by。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

I know that a lot of people would say that Mary is stupid or insipid。 She is neither of those things she is a quiet person who likes to see the good in others。 The only way is not always a feisty heroine and Mary is a heroine none the less for her gentler approach to life。 Sometimes there is more to be gained by being kind than by being harsh。 She doesn't loose her head and she doesn't really make rash decisions but she does try to find her own way out of her predicament。 Sendat is somewhere bet I know that a lot of people would say that Mary is stupid or insipid。 She is neither of those things she is a quiet person who likes to see the good in others。 The only way is not always a feisty heroine and Mary is a heroine none the less for her gentler approach to life。 Sometimes there is more to be gained by being kind than by being harsh。 She doesn't loose her head and she doesn't really make rash decisions but she does try to find her own way out of her predicament。 Sendat is somewhere between a rock and a hard place。 He is in the fleet and was put undercover to infiltrate and work against the slave trade。 He is an honourable male but he feels that he has been tainted by the work he was sent to do。 Another rotten day of no real leads when all of sudden a vision is brought into his work place。 He cannot let her go to anyone and he desperately wants to keep her for himself。 His views on his worthiness， his current position will not allow him to think that he has any chance with her。 It seems however that there is a trap closing in around him of which he is totally unaware of。 Will this pull him and Mary together or send them far apart？ 。。。more

Mary is sent in an escape pod to be picked up later by her kidnappers。 But she ends up being taken to slave traders。 There she meets Sendat who is working undercover。 As soon as Mary sees Sendat she feels safe。 And he has vowed to keep her safe。 They have quite the adventure。 I specially like the ending。 Great addition to the series。

I loved this book！ It had a lot of intrigue and mystery and had an adventurous feel to it。 I loved Sendat。 I found it so interesting he was undercover to expose an illegal slave operation and had to balance the person he had to present himself as with his own honor and the actions he himself would want to make。 Miri （Mary） was so sweet and innocent and despite knowing the darker side of people， always tried to see the best in someone and the positive side of situations。 She took to Sendat immedi I loved this book！ It had a lot of intrigue and mystery and had an adventurous feel to it。 I loved Sendat。 I found it so interesting he was undercover to expose an illegal slave operation and had to balance the person he had to present himself as with his own honor and the actions he himself would want to make。 Miri （Mary） was so sweet and innocent and despite knowing the darker side of people， always tried to see the best in someone and the positive side of situations。 She took to Sendat immediately and I liked them as a couple right away。 I really liked the supporting characters， and familiar faces from previous books do make an appearance。 Those scenes made me the happiest actually。 This book was paced really nicely between tension， suspense， peacefulness， and danger。 I couldn't put it down and finished it in one sitting。 So excited for the next book as I was immediately interested in that male character here。 Loved this and I definitely recommend it！ 5 stars！ 。。。more

Mary gets ejected in a pod， traded to slavers， rescued from slavers， and kidnapped again… phew！ At least she finds her happily ever after with Sendat， an alien who looks like the mythological Minotaur。 I really enjoyed how this book clips along - fast-paced with plenty of action and heat， it made for a great read。
